Modern Opulence at The Shelbourne Hotel

This gorgeous editorial was in collaboration with the US based Southern Bride Magazine, and took place in the beautiful surrounds of the Shelbourne Hotel located just off Dublin’s famous Stephen’s Green. The theme of the shoot was inspired by the beautiful greenery and wild nature of Ireland and the iconic history of Shelbourne.

For the stationery, I worked closely with Sandra of Infusion Weddings to come up with a modern and luxurious concept. The neutral earthy colour palette was designed to complement the delicate greenery of the florals, with the gold foil acting as the accent colour. I chose to blind emboss the floral leaf element, which added another level of depth to the gorgeous invitation suite. The signage was designed to float on the varying heights of the plinths, and the shapes mirrored the invitation design. The font choices were kept classic, yet with a contemporary feel, and this was carried throughout the day of items and the signage.
